Blind Rivets

Blind rivets are mainly used in applications where there is no access to the rear (blind side) of the joint. Rivet consist of two construction pieces - a rivet body and another is called the stem or mandrel. Both are pre-assembled and ready to use. Rivets are installed by using a riveting tool to draw the mandrel which causes the body to deform and clamp down on the joint. Once it meets the face of the join’s blind side the mandrel snaps, a tight joint is created. Blind rivet can be used as a replacement for nuts and bolts, screws and welds.
